Yesterday, the
Gap is launched their first-ever Artist Edition T-Shirt collection in stores and online. In celebration of the 2008 Whitney Biennial, the store collaborated with previous Biennial artists like Chuck Close and Jeff Koons to create this limited edition collection.
The limited edition collection is available exclusively at select Gap stores in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and franchise markets, as well as online in the U.S. at
gap.com. It’s also available at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and at Colette, a Paris-based boutique. The t-shirts range in price from $28 to $38.

Jewelry trends are coming fast and furious this summer, and the latest one hovering on the horizon is the lariat. It may not have arrived completely, but it seems to be on its way and we like to give you the heads up so you can be ready. While "lariat" may call up images of cowgirls and bandanas, never fear -- what we're seeing are definitely more sophisticated versions. For those of us in cooler climes, the coming of summer brings all kinds of anxieties -- a primary one being exposing our legs after a long (and possibly neglectful) winter.
